Travis Nosko is a financial advisor with Alberta Municipal Affairs.  He has been with the department since 2006, when he started as a co-op student during his studies at the University of Alberta School  of Business.  Since joining Municipal Affairs, Travis has worked with numerous departments including grants, stakeholder relations and, starting in 2009, financial advisory.  As a financial advisor Travis assists the more than 340 municipalities in Alberta with a range of financial issues including training, budgeting, audit, financial policy decisions and capital planning.  Travis is currently working toward is CPA designation and sits on the Board of Directors for the Alberta Chapter of the Government Finance Officers Association.
